Men writing about what women want
Women are one amorphous lump
I keep seeing articles on here about 'what women want' from men. And most of the time, I can tell you that they're wrong.
So so so wrong.
Honestly, how would men know what all women want?
Apparently, women are one collective. Like the Borg. Or socialism. Something… something…controversial.
The lack of emotional self-awareness in these posts is hilarious. I read these articles partially to see what I'm up against (I mean, I'm going to tag feminism here) and also to laugh. Because I laugh deeply at these super weird contradictory arguments.
And even despite what many think, I realise that there is nuance to the human experience. You cannot absolutely say that all people of one group, be it gender, religion, race, or whatever, are the same. (And just to get in there first, the patriarchy is a system. It's not a person or people.)
The lack of emotional self-awareness of plenty of cranky men is pretty obvious here. I mean, you know the way that women are humans? Perhaps it would be wise to ask them what they wanted individually? Or listen to their concerns? Perhaps, you should stop talking about what you think they want. Instead of assuming, we want sculpted Adonis(es) with a massive bank balance and penis.
