I get your point about the difficulty meeting people off apps. I think there definitely is a place for them but dating online is a completely different kettle of fish. My point with it was it’s not necessarily the same as meeting someone in real life because people dismiss people straight away based on criteria that they wouldn’t necessarily dismiss them on in person, if you get me?

I don’t know if the average woman thinks she’s better than average because she gets a large amount of messages from men. From what I remember from years ago I got a lot of copy paste messages, little to no effort in messages, sex talk straight away and virtually nobody read my profile so I didn’t find any of those flattering in the least.

I knew that the percentages were more than a theory and actually backed by data (I should’ve had that to hand to be honest) but the percentages and the way it has been used in conversations by men mostly has mutated somewhat depending on who they’re talking to.
