What happened to my reads when I went on holiday

Before I wrote that, I was planning to write a lot less instead of focusing on the quality and not the quantity. I was tired of reading so many articles that pushed the idea that you should write and publish every day. After a few weeks of writing consistently and trying to write every week, I felt that my work was not as good as it could be, was rushed, and honestly… a bit crap.

I felt under pressure to produce, and the work suffered a bit as a result — so I cut my work down to an article every 2–3 days. And you know what happened? My stats went up significantly. Now, when I say significant, I mean from less than a hundred views to nearly five hundred a day — I mean, it’s decent but nothing to brag about. I was proud of it, though, and considering I would be earning in the low hundreds region for my first few weeks of pushing myself through trial and error, I was a little smug with myself.

I had two stories that gained traction about a month after I had written them, and they are still earning me a few reads here and there. One is about boobs, and the other is a satire piece about what to do when you’re an ugly woman.
