Diagrams of life

A visual representation of some of the relatable quandaries of life.

I think I respond well to visual learning. Or learning with ‘visual aids’ (heh).

A wise woman I once knew said that to me sometimes ‘words are just words.’ Sometimes a picture does say a thousand words.

Anyway, one night I decided to mess around with a variety of Microsoft office slide show graphic options. I thought they could be used to sum up everyday comedic instances.

During my MA, I remember giving presentations on our various projects when one student didn’t turn up. Another guy, who was so into the course and so overly prepared that it was irritating, said that he could fill in the gap as he had nerdily brought his presentation with him. It was on radio — public radio. For the entire 15 minutes he earnestly explained his project without looking at the actual slideshow while we all stifled laughter like children. The word ‘pubic’ had appeared on several slides.
